MOVE team members receive excellence award
On November 23, the Romanian MOVE research team has received an excellence award from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). At the 1st edition of the ASE “Excellence Gala” in Bucharest, the MOVE team was honoured in the category “Academic Research Organisation / Research Project”.
All in all, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies awarded researches from different fields in 10 categories:
- Scientific research – for a researcher with an impressive number of international publications
- Entrepreneurship activity – for a young graduate, who has set up several very successful companies in the years immediately after graduation
- Scientific research carried out by a doctoral student or junior researcher
- Scientific research organisation/management – for a research project team
- Scientific research carried out by students – awarded to an undergrad student
- Learning results obtained by a student during an ERASMUS mobility – awarded to a student who is on a longer study mobility and is very successful
- Learning results and involvement in the university’s social life – awarded to a student with excellent study results and active involvement in the academic community
- The entire professional activity – for a representative of the Admin / Teaching support services of the university
- Digitalization and support of the university’s education and research activities – awarded to an institutional partner who did pioneering work at ASE – very innovative lab etc.
- Award for the cultural activity
On Monday, November 27th, two members of the award-winning Romanian team, Monica Roman and Dorel Paraschiv, will take part in a TV panel discussion on academic research.
